Business Rate Relief – Working or not?

The Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation (IRRV one of the three professional bodies with members specializing in Business Rates, is currently seeking to put together various views on ‘business rate relief’. IRRV are looking at the current system of rate relief both from the ratepayers and the administrators view. Do members have any comments on what works / doesn’t work or what needs amending and why? Views would also be welcome on issues such as: – the interaction between relief’s
– what problems the current system gives members
