European Week of Health & Safety 19 – 25 October 2009

This year the European Week of Health and Safety takes place on 19 – 25 October 2009. 

This has been a 2-year campaign (2008/2009) aimed at stakeholders, including employers, workers and safety representatives, and is intended to promote the benefits of completing and implementing a risk assessment. The focus of the second year of the campaign is promoting good practice in risk assessment.

The campaign seeks to demystify the risk assessment process to show that risk assessment is not necessarily complicated, bureaucratic or a task only for experts
